But it's the language of Motherhood. Things like: "Don't shoot your sister at the table." "Did you wash? Did you use soap?" (in an adult mind that's a tad redundant but not in a kid's mind) "Don't even LOOK at the cat!" I often think that if someone just popped in for a second and heard some of the things I say- they would really wonder about my sanity. But it’s the language of Motherhood.
